Shaikenova Rashida Rashidovna
Independent Director of the Board of Directors of JSC "NC" Kazakh Tourism", Chairman of the Kazakhstan Tourist Association, President of the Kazakhstan Association of Hotels and Restaurants.
She began her career in 1972 as a kindergarten teacher in Frunze.
After graduating from the Orenburg Pedagogical Institute in 1978, she was appointed a teacher of Russian language and literature and worked for more than 16 years as a teacher, deputy director, and school director.
From 1994 to 1998-correspondent of the newspaper "Morning of Bishkek".
From 2000 to 2001-Deputy editor-in-chief of the magazine "Tour".
From 2001 to 2008, the Executive Director of the Kazakhstan Tourism Association.
From 2008 to the present, Director of the Kazakhstan Tourist Association.
From 2005 to 2012, she was a member of the Expert Council of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in 2011 she became a member of the National Council for the Training of Professional and Technical Personnel under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On the initiative of R. R. Shaikenova, an Ecotourism Information Resource Center was established for the first time in Kazakhstan in 2005, the first tourism Information Center was established in 2009, these structures work systematically to develop domestic and inbound tourism, to increase the attractiveness of Almaty and Kazakhstan on the international market and to serve foreign tourists.
From 2009 to 2019 - project Manager for the development of professional standards in the field of tourism and hospitality RK.
From 2017 to 2018 , he was the project manager for the development of professional standards in the field of "Service Sector".
From 2019 to 2020, she headed the project on the development of the Industry Framework of qualifications and professional standards in the direction of the "Tourism industry".
R. R. Shaikenova is a member of the expert councils under the Committee of the Tourism Industry of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a member of the Committee of the Tourism Industry of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken", a member of the regional Council of the RCE, a member of the Business Council under the Akimat of Almaty.
