Public Council

Following the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan «On Public Councils» the Public Council of JSC «NC «Kazakh Tourism» was established.

The main purpose of the Public Council is to express the opinion of civil society on socially significant issues.

The Public Council have created to organize public control and ensure transparency of the Company's activities, represent the interests of citizens and the public in making their decisions, and develop interaction with civil society.

The powers of public councils formed by quasi-public sector entities include:

  • discussion of draft development plans of national management holdings, national holdings, and national companies and action plans;
  • discussion of reports and monitoring of the implementation of development plans of national management holdings, national holdings, and national companies and action plans;
  • discussion of the results of financial and economic activities;
  • development and submission to state bodies of proposals for improving the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
  • creation of commissions on areas of activity; approval of the regulations on the Public Council;
  • implementation of public control in the forms provided for by law.

The Public Council includes the following representatives of non-profit organizations and citizens:

  1. Aliya Sagyndykovna Aktymbaeva, Head of the Department of Recreational Geography and Tourism of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University;

  2. Bisembayeva Bagila Mubarakovna, Director of «FORTUNATA» LLP, member of the Regional Council of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Nur-Sultan, Chairman of the Regional Council of Businesswomen of Astana, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Private Foundation «Akniet»;

  3. Yeliseyev Konstantin Evgenievich, Director of SNeG Hotels Kazakhstan LLP;

  4. Serik Kairatovich Zhunusov, Executive Director of the Tourist Association of East Kazakhstan, Executive Director of the «Sustainable Development of the Katon-Karagai district»;

  5. Lukpanova Kamila Askarovna, Project Manager of the Private Fund «Bulat Utemuratov Foundation»;

  6. Sergey A. Spitsyn, General Director of Tau Zhol Shymkent LLP, Shymkent Resort Hotel;

  7. Uteshev Nurlan Suleimenovich, Deputy Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

  8. Makhambet Kabdulkairovich Khasenov, General Director of Almerek Oil Depot LLP, deputy of the Maslikhat of Almaty of the VII convocation, Chairman of the Almaty city branch of the «Auyl» NDPP.

From JSC «NC «Kazakh Tourism», the Public Council includes members of the Board of the Company Sadvakassov K.S., Egimbayeva M.E., as well as the head of the Centralized procurement control service Zhansaitov R.A.
