Following the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan «On Public Councils» the Public Council of JSC «NC «Kazakh Tourism» was established.

The main purpose of the Public Council is to express the opinion of civil society on socially significant issues.

The Public Council have created to organize public control and ensure transparency of the Company's activities, represent the interests of citizens and the public in making their decisions, and develop interaction with civil society.

The powers of public councils formed by quasi-public sector entities include:

• discussion of draft development plans of national management holdings, national holdings, and national companies and action plans;
• discussion of reports and monitoring of the implementation of development plans of national management holdings, national holdings, and national companies and action plans;
• discussion of the results of financial and economic activities;
• development and submission to state bodies of proposals for improving the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
• creation of commissions on areas of activity; approval of the regulations on the Public Council;
• implementation of public control in the forms provided for by law.

The Public Council includes the following representatives of non-profit organizations and citizens:

1. Saida Abdrakhmankyzy – self-nominated candidate;

2. Inzhumarzhan Mysyrgalykyzy Berden – self-nominated candidate;

3. Natalia Alekseevna Borovaya – self-nominated candidate;

4. Berik Akhmediyanovich Akilbekov – from the Public Association “Kaz Alpine Club”;

5. Azamat Muratbekovich Kalkabayev – self-nominated candidate;

6. Aibulat Shamuratovich Kurumbayev – self-nominated candidate;

7. Assel Bolatovna Nurkebayeva – self-nominated candidate;

8. Nurken Argynkazyuly Nurlybayev – self-nominated candidate;

9. Gulden Dzhetysovna Ospanova – Association of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs Self-Regulatory Organization “Republican Association ‘Kazakhstan Tourism Industry’”;

10. Vagida Vilinovna Salimova – self-nominated candidate;

11. Dinara Borisovna Sapakova – self-nominated candidate;

12. Yerkin Amangeldinovich Tikenov – self-nominated candidate.
