Talgat Gazizov began his professional career as a lecturer at the department of world history and international relations of Karaganda state university named after Academician E.A. Buketov.

Subsequently, he held various positions in organizations subordinate to the Ministry of culture and information of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He served as Director of the Department of information support and pr promotion at JSC National Infocommunication Holding Zerde. He also headed the Department of communications and analysis of the central office of the Amanat party and worked as Managing Director at the AQGroup of companies. He was Deputy Director of a branch of JSC Kazpost. Prior to his appointment as Chairman of the Management Board of JSC NC Kazakh Tourism, Talgat Gazizov, since 2023, had held the position of Managing Director and Member of the Management Board of JSC Kazpost.
