A popular Chinese blogger became a tourism ambassador of Kazakhstan
In Astana, the head of Kazakh Tourism, Kairat Sadvakasov, presented the honorary mission of «Tourism Ambassador of Kazakhstan» to a popular influencer from China, Taotao. The blogger enthusiastically introduces her 7-million audience to the rich culture and nature of our country.
The influencer from China has already visited 3 regions of Kazakhstan. She discovered Kazakhstan for the first time at the World Nomad Games in 2024. This time, Taotao is traveling through unique natural locations of East Kazakhstan and Almaty regions, as well as around the cities of Astana and Almaty.
Taotao is passionate about horseback riding and pays special attention to the culture and picturesque natural landscapes of the country. In her publications, the blogger showcases traditional Kazakh outfits, introduces national cuisine, and shares footage of hunting with a golden eagle.

Since 2018, Kazakh Tourism has been implementing the “Tourism Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan” initiative. It is aimed at promoting Kazakhstan as an attractive tourist destination, drawing the attention of travelers from all over the world to the diversity of the country’s natural and cultural wealth. Last year, Japanese blogger Yuji Natsuma took on this honorary mission.
