Kazakhstan Named a Trendy Tourist Destination During Eid al-Fitr 2025
Kazakhstan has once again become one of the top trending destinations for tourists from Arab countries during the Eid al-Fitr holiday in 2025. Last year, our country already topped the list of rapidly growing tourist destinations in the region.
According to a study by Khaleej Times, 60% of residents of the UAE prefer to travel abroad for the Eid al-Fitr celebrations, with many travelers choosing budget-friendly, visa-free destinations for family vacations.
The publication noted that alongside Kazakhstan, other trending destinations this year include Azerbaijan, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Armenia. All of these countries are known for their convenient visa regimes.
A similar trend is observed in Qatar, where Gulf Times highlights the growing popularity of short-distance travel, particularly among expatriates who visit countries offering relaxed visa policies.
Thus, trips to Kazakhstan, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Egypt, and Jordan are becoming increasingly popular.
Middle East Economic also compiled a list of 15 trending destinations to visit during the Eid al-Fitr 2025 holiday. Kazakhstan’s popularity among tourists from the UAE is attributed not only to its diverse natural landscapes and cultural heritage but also to its accessibility.
