On 14 February 2026, the international ice running tournament Burabay Ice 2026 will be held in the territory of Burabay National Park. The winter season event is included in Kazakhstan’s 2026 Event Calendar.
To date, more than 500 participants have already registered for the tournament. Among them are residents from various regions of Kazakhstan, as well as tourists from France, the United Kingdom, Hungary, Canada, Russia, Uzbekistan, Japan, New Zealand, and Peru.
The competitions will be held over several distances: 7 km, 14 km, and 21 km.
The event also offers participants and guests the opportunity to spend winter weekends in a scenic natural setting and contributes to enhancing the region’s tourism attractiveness.
