«An essential condition for the development of tourism in Baikonur is ensuring comfortable conditions for travelers. To achieve this, it is necessary tocreate a basic tourism infrastructure.

This includes the establishment of serviceinfrastructure, the development of accommodation facilities, and the expansion oftourism offerings that are available not only during launch periods but also inbetween launches. First and foremost, it is necessary to open a visitor center, which will serve not only as an informational and navigational point for touristsbut also as a platform for promoting the cultural and educational significance ofthe complex to a wider audience», - noted Daniel Serzhanuly.

According to the regional akimat, about 4,000 tourists have visited theBaikonur complex since the beginning of the year. Three rocket launches have already taken place, and three more are planned before the end of the year.
