During a meeting between the Minister of Sports and Tourism, Yerbol Myrzabosynov, and representatives of the tourism community, the Chairman of the Management Board of JSC “NC “Kazakh Tourism,” Talgat Gazizov, presented the event calendar of cultural and tourism activities for 2026.
The calendar covers 55 anchor events across all regions of the country and is aimed at developing domestic tourism and promoting regional brands. A significant portion of the events is traditional in nature and is held on an annual basis.
Representatives of the tourism industry emphasized that a unified event calendar contributes to strengthening the tourism identity of the regions, increasing their recognition, and creating new tourist routes.
According to Talgat Gazizov, a systematic approach to event activities enables tourists to plan their trips in advance, and allows businesses to develop tourism products based on specific dates and locations. This also helps reduce seasonality.
