"After the launch of the new video, we receive positive feedback from all over the world. In particular, our colleagues from neighboring countries, Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic, who also have a problem of negative association with the suffix-stan, noted the concept of the video in a very positive way. And today's award once again proves that the idea has potential, "said Talgat Amanbayev, Director of the Marketing, Communications and Digitalization Department of Kazakh Tourism NC JSC, who presented the videos at the festival.  As for last year's video " Where are we going?", which went viral on messengers and social networks immediately after the launch, he has already won the nomination "Tourist Destination" at the XVI International Festival of Tourist Films "On the East Coast of Europe" (On the East Coast of Europe) in Bulgaria, as well as entering the list of the best travel videos according to the famous Russian travel website tutu.ru. The video "Where are we going?" demonstrates the numerous opportunities of Kazakhstan as a completely new, unexplored tourist destination through comparison with already well-known destinations around the world. It is worth noting that travel to Kazakhstan, including active recreation in our country, has been gaining popularity among Russian tourists in recent years. In 2018, 1.7 million Russians visited Kazakhstan, and in the first half of 2019, 808 thousand people already visited. Kazakhstan also periodically gets into the ratings of popular travel destinations for Russian tourists, including the TOP 3 countries for adventure holidays according to the National Geographic Traveler Awards in 2018.
