Cinema plays a key role in enhancing the appeal of Kazakhstan's tourist destinations. In this regard, Kazakh Tourism is expanding its collaboration with representatives of the industry on the international stage. Producer Nadira Akhonova has become a goodwill ambassador for Kazakhstani tourism and plans to continue attracting global media companies and Hollywood studios to the country.

During a meeting, the head of Kazakh Tourism, Kairat Sadvakassov, emphasized the importance of promoting tourism through cinema. This approach not only allows for the showcasing of the country’s rich culture and diverse landscapes but also its historical heritage. He also highlighted the role of tourism ambassadors, who contribute to popularizing Kazakhstan as an attractive travel destination. In addition to well-known Kazakh public figures, the mission of promoting tourism has also been embraced by foreign citizens.

«Kazakhstan is not only vast steppes and magnificent natural landscapes, but also unique traditions, hospitality, a rich history, and the distinctive spirit of its people. I have always aimed to introduce the world to the rich heritage of our country through film. Now my professional activities have taken on a new dimension, becoming a great responsibility and an immense honor to serve my country. My plans include attracting producers from India and Hollywood for co-productions. These two film markets are leaders in the global film industry. I am proud to be part of this process and to help the world discover Kazakhstan», - says the producer.

It is important to note that Nadira Akhonova will promote tourism in Kazakhstan on a voluntary basis, using her international experience and connections in the film industry. She collaborates with major global media companies and Hollywood studios. Nadira is a recipient of several prestigious awards, including the "Emmy" (Genetic Passport), "Telly" (My Kazakhstan, Bloomberg Media), and "Best Feature Film" (The Steed, San Diego). She has participated in the Cannes Film Festival with the film Discommunication and her own project Seven Rounds. Nadira is also a producer of news reports and documentaries for leading global channels such as Bloomberg, SABC, Channel 24 UK, HBO, PPTV, France 24, SVT, YLE, DR, CGTN, CNA, Sunday Times, NY Times, and others.

Currently, the producer is working with CNA on a documentary titled Reaching the Unreached about the Salamatty Kazakhstan project. The premiere is expected to take place in Astana or Almaty, and the film is also planned to be presented at international film festivals.
